PSI Meeting 2017 – Colombia
The Passiflora Society International meeting will be held this year in Colombia hosted by Sergio Lloreda. We currently have only 35 places available which will be based on first come first served.
Entrance fee to the meeting: 25,00 USD per person.
Included: lunches outside of the hotel and your souvenir PSI 2017 meeting T-Shirt.
Note: There is a chance that we may require an additional fee for the bus rental. This is all depending on who will be renting their own cars and spaces available. We cannot know this until closer to the date. So please bear in mind if you wish to use the bus this will be charged.
Below you will find the program for the activities we have planned. Please note these can change off course.
Tuesday 1st August
16:00 Departure from selected hotel in Bogota by rented bus or your own rented vehicle to the hotel.
This is an approx. 3 hour drive.
The accommodation is the Anapoima Club Campestre a private country club.

The Country Club has been reserved for three nights 1st to the 3rd.
Prices are 260,00 USD per person for the entire stay which includes Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Alcoholic beverages are not included in this price.
A non-refundable deposit for the Country Club is required at 100,00 USD per person. This must be paid 1 months before the meeting to confirm your reservation and the remainder upon arrival to the Country Club. You can pay this deposit only via the Passiflora Society Website with PayPal.
Wednesday 2nd August
09:00 Departure by bus to the Misiones Plantation. On this fruit, coffee and macadamia plantation we have a few activities planned. There will be two tours available.
Tour 1 – A hike around the forest of the plantation searching for the local wild Passion Flowers which you will find many native species. This will take around 6 hours in total and to warn you the trek is rather strenuous!
Tour 2 – A guided tour around the planation. You will visit the coffee fields, the Macademia plantation and off course the Murucuja fields. You’ll visit the old historic coffee sorting and drying house.
At the end of the tours we will then also visit the Private Collection of local Passions Flowers collected from all over Colombia.
16:00 Departure by bus back to the Country Club.
Thursday 3rd August
08:00 Departure to a Granadilla (Passiflora ligularis) plantation. Here we will have a guided tour of the farm and how the fruit is grown.
11:00 Departure back to the hotel by bus.
13:00 Official meeting will open with a talk from the President and Vice President. Questions at the end.
14:00 Slide shows and presentation time. We have reserved 3 hours for our attendees. Please email Rob McPhail to reserve your place.
19:00 Group dinner in the Country Club with free time.
Friday 4th August
Free time to enjoy the grounds and the swimming pool of the Country club.
Note: There is a possibly of another short Passiflora hunting excursion in this time. This all depends on the number of attendees to the meeting. More information will come on this as we move closer to August.
13:00 Check out of hotel to return to Bogota.
